Landon Reid-18 Months!!

It's so hard to believe that Landon just had his 18 month appointment(well, it was a little late b/c we switched doctors....he is now 19 1/2 months!!!). Landon weighed in at 27lbs 7ounces(60%) and his height is 35"(95%). The doctor said she was a little worried about his head being so large(97%), but I told her that it's been this way since Landon was a baby and our previous pediatrician didn't seem concerned. Well, our new pediatrician measured my head and suprisingly it's 2cm more than the average female and she had me measure Jason's head and his is 1cm larger than the average male!!! Too funny....maybe that's why he has a big head. Our doc wants us to come in again in a month and get Landon's head measured, just to make sure it's growing normally. She thinks it's probably not a problem since Jason and I both have big heads...Landon is just taking after us!!! HAHAHA!! No wonder I can never get a shirt over his head and he wears a 3T hat!!!

Where has the time gone. It's seems like yesterday that Landon was a little baby and now he is a little boy. He is growing up way too fast much to my dislike. =)
This is what Landon is doing now....

We finally got rid of Landon's bottle. I had just been giving it to him at night b/c I loved my cuddle time, but he was not interested in the cuddle time anymore and would just carry his bottle around and drink it before bedtime so we new that it was time to take it away. Now he just gets a sippy of milk in the am and before bedtime. He didn't mind at all that the bottle was taken away, it was more of me wanting to keep it!!! I do miss my cuddle time!!! THe only cuddle time I get with Landon is when he's sick or when we read books. Sniff, sniff. =)

Landon loves his pacifier and blanket. We try to just give him his paci at night and at naptime, but when he's sick or crabby we tend to give it to him more. He now will say "paci" and "blankie" in a cute little voice that it's hard not to give it to him!!! We have to hide the paci during the day or he would have it in his mouth all day and we want him to be able to talk and not rely on the paci.

At Landon's 18 month appointment the doc asked me how many words Landon says and I seriously had to think about it b/c he has so many....I said 50, but I'm realizing that he has a lot more. He can now say two and three word sentences. He is copying everything that we say, it is too cute. Some of the word he says are, dog, cat, Diego, Dora, Happy Birthday, paci, blankie, sippy, eat, hungry, chips, snack, open, up, water, juice. He can even say all his cousins names when I point to their pictures on the refrigerator!!!

Landon has now entered into his terrible two's...EARLY!! He throws himself on the floor or arches his back when he doesn't get his way. He hates to come inside and cries every time we have to come in. He loves to brush his teeth and hates it when I turn off the water and say "all done brushing"...gets mad b/c he wants to keep brushing!! Hates to get his diaper changed. I have to arm wrestle him every diaper change. I had to wrestle him into his carseat several times b/c he didn't want to get buckled in.

Love, loves, loves to play with balls!!! Says "soccer ball" all the time and loves to dribble the ball. Loves to shoot baskets and loves it when Daddy lifts him up to dunk the ball. Just started liking to hit the baseball off the tee.

Has a love/hate relationship with his sister. Loves to follow Kennidee around. When Landon wakes up first in the morning he says "dee dee" and looks for her coming down the stairs. Loves to dance to Diego in the morning with his sister. Repeats a lot of the words that Kennidee says and wants to play with everything she plays with. Hates it when Kennidee hugs or tries to lift him up...wants to do it himself. Doesn't like it when she takes toys away from him, will hit her back or has tried to bite her a couple of times!!!

Loves animals of anykind...expecially dogs and horses. Isn't afraid to touch any animal and loves to be "kissed" by dogs. Loves to pet and feed the horses in our neighborhood. Giggles when the horse takes a carrot from him....too cute.

Well, I could go on and on about our little boy but I should really go to bed. What a joy you are in our lives, Landon Reid. Your adorable smile, your bright blue eyes, the way you laugh, your hugs and kisses...you make us smile!!! We are so glad God blessed us with a precious little boy. We love you!!!

Landon 15 Months Old!!

Okay...I admit I've been a total slacker when it comes to my blog right now. It's been way too long since I've posted anything, so thought I would post about my little man who is 15 months old already!!! That makes me so sad to say that...I can't believe how old he is. I'm still trying to make him my little baby...I admit I still give him a bottle at bedtime(shame on me, but i don't care). I love having that alone time w/him to cuddle, feed him a bottle and sing to him. I told my dr. about it at his 15 month apt. and she said she didn't care, just to wipe his mouth after he's done!!!! I know I need to stop his bottle soon...maybe after the first of the year!!! =)

Landon had his 15 month appointment this past Friday. He weighed in at 25lbs 6 oz(60%) and 34"(>95%). He still has a big head...can't recall how big, but the dr. said it's >95%!!! Funny!! He had to have 4 shots...poor little buddy...I hate that part but know it's neccessary!!

What a little ham mr. Landon is. He is such a funny baby and such a mommas boy. He is constantly saying mama and hates it when I leave the room. I went out the other night and Jason said he cried and whined for 25min and was looking for me in every room of our house....poor Jason!!! I do love it that he's a momma's boy, but sometimes it does get annoying when I have to do everything and Jason can't.

He says a lot of words, some of them are...mama, dad, deedee(for Kennidee), ball, car, cracker, bubbles, fish. Says several animal sounds....ba, neigh, meow, wuff, roar. He just cracks me up. We were sitting at the dinner table tonight and I've been asking how old he is and then holding up a finger and saying "one". Well, tonight I asked him "Landon how old are " and his reply was "two"!!! We were all cracking up, so he just kept saying it!!! What a little funny ham!!

Kennidee's First Day of Preschool!!

It's hard to believe that I'm typing this, but Kennidee had her first of of Preschool last week Tuesday!!! Our little girl is growing up. We weren't sure we were going to send her this year, but Jason and I talked about it and thought it would be good for her to go. It's actually called 3-school. We are sending her to The Enchanted Forest Preschool which is throught Spectrum Health South Campus(on 68th and Division). My sister has been sending her kids there since Cayden was little(he is now 7)and she loves it. The teachers there are so nice and welcoming and Kennidee loves it. Next year we'll send her somewhere in the Hudsonville/Jenison area which is close to our new house!! I have been taking her to "daycare" at Enchanted Forest for about 7 months now, every Wednesday from 9-12, so it was an easy transition to take her to preschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-11:30(no more Wednesday day care). She was so excited to go to school. She picked out a Dora backpack about a week before school started and was so excited to take it to school. She's even more excited b/c her cousin, Kamryn, is also going to the same school!!! We took a couple of pictures of Kennidee outside before she left for school and she was so excited. She looked so cute in her new outfit and new Dora backpack!!! I'll post pictures later.....Miss Kennidee is waking up. =)

Landon 12 Months Old!!

It's hard to believe that Landon is one years old already. We just had his 12 month check-up at the dr.'s today and he did great. He got three shots(one was the flu shot which I didn't know he was getting). He did pretty well, cried when he got the shots and then I picked him up and he cried a little while longer and then he was done and crawling around the dr.'s office...what a trooper. He was 23lbs 12oz for weight(60%) and 32 3/4" for height(>>95%). He is such a little character. He is crawling all around the house and really fast, pulling up on things, walking around furniture and standing up on his own. He'll walk a little when he holds my hands, but not too interested in walking yet b/c he'll just plop down and crawl fast to get places. Not sure if I'm ready for his to walk yet since I think I'll be chasing him around a lot more!! He says a couple of words....dada, mama, ball, cracker, baba, does "so big", claps his hands, give people five. He is such a little ham and is a pretty content baby unless his sister takes his toy or bops him on the head(I would be mad too!!!). He absolutely loves to eat and is always eating before we sit down for a meal and the last one to be done...he loves fruit, lasagna, peas, carrots, corn...just about anything. He still has 2 bottle a day of formula, although the doctor said we can start him on whole milk now....yeah no more expensive formula. She said we can gradually get rid of the bottle too....think that will be harder for me than Landon since that's my time to cuddle with him. =) All-in-all he's a happy, healthy baby.

Happy First Birthday baby boy. You turned one years old on the 14th of August...can't believe that you're one already...wow has time flown by. We celebrated your birthday on Sat. the 15th with family and a couple of close friends. It was a realy warm day, so we set up the pools so you and your friends could enjoy some fun in the water. You were so funny when it was time to open your presents, you didn't seem to care about them. You were more interested in Auntie Kelly and your cousins than all the presenst, luckily your big sister helped mommy open them. You got so many cute "boy" presents..we were so excited for you. You loved your cake too. You even decided to put your face in it which was pretty funny. What a great birthday, Landon. You are growing up before our very eyes. We love your bright blue eyes, your smile, your cute giggle, your screams when you want something or when your sister takes a toy away, your love of food(esp. fruit!!), the way you shake your head when mommy says "no". You are such a joy. Happy First Birthday Landon!!! We love you.

Happy Anniversary

Jason and I celebrated our 8th Anniversary yesterday!!!! Happy Anniversary babe!! Jason had to work during the day, but when he came home we decided to head to Millenium Park for dinner and swimming with the kids. The Dresslers came with us and we ran into the Haartmans too!!! The kids had so much fun swimming and playing in the mud. I think Landon had a whole meal of sand. He kept putting fistfulls of sand in his mouth...seriously so gross...how is that good?!?! Kennidee loved the water and is turing into quite the little swimmer. What a great Anniversary. Can't believe it's been 8 years.....I can't wait to spend many more with the love of my life!!!

Just wanted to share some of the funny things that Kennidee says. As most of you know Kennidee is quite the talker and is constantly making us laugh with what comes out of her mouth. Here are a couple of funnies....
*Asked Daddy, "do you suck your thumb?"
*"Daddy you had a gross toot"
*When mommy and Kennidee were making cupcakes you said to me, "you can do it yourself, mommy" when I asked her to help me put the cupcakes in the pan!"
*Asked Mommy, "what color is your poop" "I wanna look"
*Talking about Landon...Kennidee says, "did you get some pjs for that boy"
*Landon was crying in the excersaucer and Kennidee said to him, "it's okay Landon, we don't have to hold you all the time."
*We went to the butterfly exhibit at Meijer Gardens and on the way home Kennidee sweetly asked, "do butterflies have sippy's"
*We went to the mall and went into the restroom....mommy was squatting over the potty and Kennidee said, "mommy why are you standing up? Boys stand up and girls sit down!!"
*Said "thank you for supper, mommy, did you cook this? Thank you"
*Loves to ask "WHY" all the time!!!
*Said, "look at you big boy", when talking to Landon.

What a funny, sweet little girl!!! These funny moment I just treasure. She makes us laugh so much and we can't wait hear what she's going to say next!!

Kennidee's 3rd Birthday!!

I'm back!!! Yes, it's been way too long since I've posted anything...I'm just going to have to blame it on being a busy mommy of two, I joined facebook which has been a serious addiction for me(HA!), I've been enjoying the sunny days of summer and we sold our house and are now looking for another one!! Anyways...enough of my excuses. Our baby girl has turned 3!!! Kennidee turned 3 on the 7th of July! It's so hard to grasp the concept that she's turning into a little girl. She desperately wanted a Mickey Mouse cake for her b-day, so I turned it into a Mickey Mouse theme...maybe next year we can have a girlie princess b-day party!!! She was so excited to have everyone come over for her b-day, she had been talking about it for weeks. The weather was perfect, so we set up the pool outside and Kennidee and her cousins had a great time playing in the water. They also had a fun time playing on her barbie jeep...up until this year she's been too scared to drive it but this year she finally took hold of the wheel and loved it(daddy had to help her stear). What a joy she brings to our lives...we cannot imagine our life without her. Happy Birthday Kennidee Rose!!!

Potty Update!!

Well, I'm so proud to announce a potty update...Kennidee stayed dry all day today. Hooray for our little girl!! Just recently she's been telling us that she has to go potty and today she went on the potty the whole day and didn't go at all in her pull-up....well maybe I shouldn't say she didn't go at all...she did manage to go poopie!!! She is still afraid to go poopie on the potty and will hide in her room to go poopie and then come out and exclaim "mommy, I went poopie in my pull-up, change me!!" Can't wait until I don't have to change another 2 1/2 yr. old poopie!! We're so proud of her and hope she continues to stay dry!! =) Now we just have to work on the poopie part!!! HAHAHA

Landon Reid-6 Months!!

It's hard to believe that my little man is six months old already!! What a blessing he is to our family, we can't imagine our life without him. He's such a little ham. He's very quick to flash his cute smile and will smile every time his big sis walks into the room. He is sitting up on his own, eating rice cereal and veggies, rolling over from back to tummy and tummy to back, grabbing for everything, and even getting mad and crying when Kennnidee takes a toy away from him. We had his six month appointment this past Friday and he now weighs 18lbs 3oz(80%)and is 28 3/4 inches(>>95%). The doctor predicted he'll be taller than his Daddy....around 6'4"!! He continues to have a big head....95%!!! Too funny!! He had to have a couple of shots and mentioned to the dr. that he had a cold and was pretty crabby. She looked in both ears and to our suprise she said he had fluid in both ears...his first ear infection. Poor Buddy. We never had to deal with an ear infection w/Kennidee b/c she's never had one and Jason and I haven't had one either. She put him on some meds and hopefully it will be cleared up soon. I also just noticed today that one of his bottom teeth is starting to pop up....poor buddy...a cold, shots, an ear infection and a tooth coming in....no wonder he is waking up now and then at night. =( Well, enjoy our pictures of our little buddy...we've certainly enjoyed taking his pictures lately...what a fun age!!

Okay...I thought it was about time that I posted something...it seems like I never have time anymore!! Last week we started Landon on rice cereal. He just turned 6 months, so I thought it was time. He wasn't quite sure about it at first. He wrinkled up his nose and kindof gave us a blank stare, but after a couple of bites he dug right in!!! He wouldn't stop!! He loved it. A couple of days later we gave him some peas and he loved that too, he didn't even want his rice cereal after he ate peas b/c he liked it so much. Yesterday we tried squash and he gobbled that down too...our little boy apparantely likes to eat! It's so funny b/c every time I put the spoon up to his mouth, he open really wide and then tries to grab my hand and pushes it toward his mouth. He will be fun to see what other baby food he likes!! My little buddy is growing up!!!

I bought these antlers in the dollar section at Target around Christmas time and recently took a couple of pictures of Landon. What a cutie!!! Locked Out!!

I locked myself out of the house today!! Imagine that!!! Here is the story...I was getting ready to leave and pick up Kennidee from her "school" this morning. I grabbed Landon in his carseat...check....grabbed the diaper bag...check...coat..check...shoes..check...and shut the door. I reached in my coat pocket to grab my car keys and they weren't there!!! Panic set in...I looked in the window to see my keys laying on the dining room table...panic again. What to do now!! I left Landon on the porch and ran to the neighbors house...not home...called Jason(luckily I had my cell phone)...didn't answer...called Jason again, he answered...crying saying he needs to leave work and come home NOW. He said I should try and open the storm door on the porch that leads into the house...check...then he said the push open the other window...not happening. Panic sets in again b/c it's freezing cold and I have a five month old sitting in his carseat on the porch crying hysterically. Still panicing b/c I had to pick up Kennidee at noon and meet my sister at pizza hut and it was 11:45!! Well, I wasn't about to wait in the freezing cold for Jason to drive home for the 20 minutes it takes him to get home. I called my friend, Kari, who lives a block away to see if she was home...she probably thought I was crazy b/c I was crying on the phone to her!!! Luckily they were home and her hubby came and picked up Landon and I and brought us to their warm house(thank you so much Kari & Andy). Finally...not panicing anymore....Jason came to pick us up, called my sister to see if we could do lunch a different time, I dropped Jason off at his car so he could return to work, picked up Kennidee from "school" and drove through McDonalds and went home!!! And I thought I was going to have a relaxing day HAHAHA

Christmas 2008

Finally..here are our pictures from Christmas 2008!! We had a busy, fun, and exhausting Christmas. We had four of seven parties in a row and we were all exhausted by the time they were over...Kennidee even said to Jason, "Daddy, get dressed and go to work!!", she apparantely was ready to get back to her routine. We had so much fun watching Kennidee and Landon open their gifts and it was so fun to see Kennidee this year open her presents. She was so excited that Santa came!! Landon could really care less what was going on, he just liked playing with the wrapping paper and trying to eat it!! All-in-all we had a wonderful Christmas and we remember with joy the wonderful gift that God gave us...his Son!! Well, I'm off to bed. I can't keep my eyes open anymore, let alone write!!

Big Girl Bed!

It's so hard to believe that our little girl is growing up and is now in a big girl bed. Jason and I decided a couple of weeks ago to transition Kennidee to a big girl bed. We had already bought a headboard and got a mattress from my parents and we just decided to go for it one night. Kennidee was so excited when we were setting it up and the first thing she wanted to do was to jump up and down on her bed. The first couple of night went great, no problems....slept from 8pm-7:30am. She did great on her naps too....2hrs(her usual). On day four she woke up at 4am and came into our room and said.."mommy, daddy I woke up".....not funny at 4 in the morning. I told her it wasn't time to wake up and Jason carried her back downstairs. Other than a couple of 4am wake-ups and a couple of short naps, she's been doing great in her big girl bed. She always comes into our room and proclaims with a LOUD voice "Mommy, Daddy I woke up" and says "want to come downstairs with me". I'm not one to jump out of bed right away, so I always tell her to come cuddle with me and then we can go downstairs!! =) I'm so suprised she doesn't wake up Landon when she tromps into our room!! He must be sleeping good in his crib instead of the pack-in-play we had him in!! Enjoy the pictures.

Trouble with a capital K!!!

Okay, so here are a couple of pictures of our little troublemaker Miss Kennidee Rose. The other night I had to quick run downstairs to put in a load of laundry and Jason was in the living room feeding Landon a bottle. Well, Kennidee decided it was time to get into trouble. She opened the drawer in the kitchen where we keep our saran wrap, wax paper and sandwhich bags. Well, I thought I heard some commotion in the kitchen and didn't think anything of it. The next thing I hear was Jason saying "Kim do you know what our daughter is doing?" and I replied "No". Well, I ventured up stairs and these pictures describe what I found.....Kennidee on the floor with the wax paper and saran wrap all over!! Hilarious!!! Jason and I were laughing so hard and I had to grab my camera. What a little troublemaker!!!

Landon slept through the night!!

I never thought I would be writing this(hahaha), but our little man slept through the night last night!!! Jason and I finally got 8 hours of straight sleep!! Yeah!! It felt so refreshing!!! Landon slept from 9pm until 7am!! So exciting!! Lets just hope he keeps this up. I feel like a new woman!!!

Santa and the train!

We went to Breton Village last week with my friend, Juleen, and all the kids. They always have a big train village display, which Kennidee loved last year, so we all decided to go again this year. The kids loved it!! I forgot my camera, so Jason and I took Kennidee and Landon back again the next evening to see the train and to sit on Santa's lap!! Kennidee was a little nervous to sit on Santa's lap, so we put Landon on his lap first and he loved it!! He was hamming it up for everyone and just smiling away. Kennidee decided it was her turn and hopped up on Santa's knee. She looked a little nervous, but she did tell Santa what she wanted.....a horse and a barn for the horse....too cute!! She wouldn't even look at Santa, but we were just glad that she sat on his lap.

She loved the train village too. What a display they have!! The had four different trains going around, one was Thomas which Kennidee recognized right away. The have a big mountain with animals, a farm, a city, a church, a fishing marina and so much more. They also have two koi ponds there with numerous fish which Kennidee loves to look at and throw penniess into the water. There is also a pet store wich we have to visit too while we're there. Kennidee and Daddy always have to pet the cats and look at the crickets. What a fun time!!

Meijer Gardens!

I just wanted to post a couple of pictures from two weeks ago when we went to Meijer Gardens with our friends, The Dresslers. We both have memberships to Meijer Gardens so we decided to take advantage of it and went to visit their "trees around the world" display. They had numerous trees there which were decorated with themes that represent different countries from around the world. My favorite was the tree from Mexico which had very bright colors...so pretty!!! We didn't get to see many trees, b/c the kids were so busy and they really didn't care about the trees(suprise, suprise!!). The main highlight for Kennidee & Noah was the trains!!! It was so cute b/c all the kids would follow the train wherever it went...you new where the train was b/c all the kids swarmed to it!! What a fun time!! They also had a big fish tank there and a gift shop wich the kids enjoyed too. Thanks for a fun time, Dresslers. Can't wait for next year!!

Landon Reid-4 Months

It's hard to believe that our little man is four months old already. It sure is going fast. We just had his four month appointment this past Friday and he's doing great. He had to have two shots in the leg and an oral vaccination which he didn't like either!! We can't belive how big our buddy is getting...he weighed in at 16lbs 8oz and 26 1/4 inches!!! No wonder he isn't fitting into 3-6 month clothes anymore. Apparently he has a big head too b/c he was 95% for head circumference!!Just for fun....I looked back at Kennidee's baby book to see what her stats were and she was so much smaller(13lbs 11oz and 25 1/2 inches)!! Landon is quite the little ham now. He loves to smile at his sister, the camera, mommy and daddy. He is always moving around and is grabbing at everything. He even grabbed two handfuls of his sister's hair the other day!! It was pretty funny b/c Kennidee was all dramatic about it..she said "my hair, my hair". I on the other hand thought it was pretty funny b/c he's just getting her back for all the hair pulling and slaps on the head she's given him!! HAHAHA He's settling into some sort of routine now. He still wakes up once a night and usually goes down for the night at 8pm and is up in the morning at 7:30am. He's taking two naps...still in his swing...I tried for a while to put him in his crib and he only lasted 30-40min and then he was up!!! I had enough of that, so back in his swing he went and he took two 2hr naps today!! Yeah!!
What a blessing he is to our family!!! Enjoy the cute pictures. I even trid to spike his hair up a little.

Kennidee went poopie on the potty!!!

Our big girl went poopie on the potty!! Kennidee woke up from her nap today and I asked her if she needed to go pee before I put a clean diaper on her and she said "yes" and went right into the bathroom. I was holding Landon and watching her go and she said "mommy go in the living room" apparantely she needed some privacy. So, I shut the door and went in the kitchen, then I heard Kennidee proclaim..."Mommy I pooped". I ran into the bathroom and sure enough there was some poop in her little potty!! I was so proud of her and she had a big smile on her face and said "I get a sticker now"!!! I not only gave her a sticker, but a little piece of candy too. What a big girl. I can't believe she went poopie...one less diaper I have to change!! We are so proud of you Kennidee!!!

It's Potty Time!!!

It's potty time around our house!! We're working on potty training Kennidee. I wanted to wait until after Landon was born b/c I hear they regress after a baby is born, so I didn't want to waist her time or mine. Well, we haven't been really pushing the whole potty thing. We got a potty a couple of months ago and it's just been sitting in the bathroom collecting dust. Occasionally Kennidee would sit on it when her friend, Conner, came over to play(he goes on the potty) and she never went. Well, I think it just started to "click" in her mind that she should go pee in the potty. The last three days she's gone once on the potty and then today she went three times!!! We are so excited!! She's so excited to get to pick out a sticker after she goes pee...we'll work on the whole poop issue after we get the pee thing down. I think she'll get a piece of candy if she goes poop. =) We are so proud of our little girl and can't wait for her to be potty trained. Our little girl is growing up before our very eyes.

Oh....here is a funny Kennidee moment...the first time she went on the potty she was standing up!!! HAHAHA I think she was watching Conner and Daddy go potty and figured "I can stand up too". I walked into the bathroom and saw her standing up peeing over her little potty & holding herself!!! She actually made some pee in the potty and the rest on the floor!! HAHAHA...I then had to explain to her that girls sit down and boys stand up. Luckily she understood what I said and hasn't sttod up since. Too funny.

Let the potty training begin...wish us luck. =)

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving...we have so much to be thankful for and we thank God for everything. We had a great Thanksgiving celebrating it at my Grandma Timmer's house(my mom's side). We had all the fixins...turkey, cheesy potatoes, snickers salad, finger jello for the kids, mashed potatoes and gravy, pies and to top it all off oreo cookie dessert!! Can you say...YUMMY!! I was able to get a couple pictures of the kids. The picture of Kennidee and Landon was the only picture of the two of them that looked half way decent...Kennidee is seriously a spaz when it comes to pictures I can't get her to look at the camera and smile...she is just too busy. Landon was all about hamming it up for the camera...he looks so cute sitting on Great Grandma's couch!! I was even able to get a picture of all the cousins on the couch and Tiana(my youngest cousin). We had a great time hanging out with family. Suprisingly Kennidee took a nap in her pack in play with all the commotion and noise going on....she must have been so tired!! We hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving and we are so thankful for all our family and friends.

Winter is here!! Last thursday we got our first big snowfall and we took full advantage of all the snow and went outside to play. Kennidee was itching to go outside, but I told her we had to wait until Daddy came home b/c I didn't want to bring Landon outside. Jason came home early(I had to take Landon to the doctor) and when Kennidee woke up she couldn't wait to go outside. It took like 15 minutes to put all her snow gear on....she looked so cute. He gloves kept falling off...I think we need a different pair that will actually stay on her hands. She loved the snow...mommy and daddy were both able to take her outside while Landon took a nap. She loved pulling her sled all around and even asked to walk around the block!! We built our first snowman of the year too. We can't wait to take her outside again!!

This past Sunday we celebrated Landon's baptism at our church, Evergreen Ministries. Landon was such a little trooper and he did great the whole day!! We were kind of nervous on how Landon would do during church b/c the pastor announced before the service that he would be doing the baptisms (there were 4 of them) after the sermon. We all thought....oh great...how are our babies going to last the whole time!!! I had to take Landon out of the service during the sermon to feed him b/c he was getting fussy and I new he wouldn't last the whole time, let alone for the baptism!! He did great!!! Pastor Tom put the water on Landon's head and apparantely Landon's eyes got really big and he started kicking his legs and moving his arms. He didn't seem to mind one bit. Kennidee was chatting away up in front of church too....Jason and I kept having to shush her b/c she kept talking!! She said..."no put water on Landon's head" and "what's Pastor Tom doin"!! Hilarious. We had lunch right after the service in the courtyard of our church. It was nice to have it there b/c I doubt everyone would have fit in our house!! Both Kennidee and Landon feel asleep on the way home. We were hoping Kennidee would stay sleeping when we brought her inside, but that didn't happen.....she ended on the couch and slept next to daddy for an hour. Landon and mommy took a much needed nap too. What a wonderful day!!! Enjoy the picts....what a handsome little man!! =)

Here are a couple of recent pictures of our family of four. We recruited my dad to take some fall pictures of us, so he met us at Wedgewood Park one day. It was the week when it was so nice out, so we weren't freezing our butts off. It was so hard to get both kids looking at the camers!! Kennidee was a little stinker the whole time, she did not want her picture taken and we again had to get out a sucker so she would smile for a couple of pictures. She was more interested in feeding the ducks and running around(typical 2 year old). Landon was more interested in looking at the leaves on the ground then looking at grandpa!! Oh well, we did get a couple of good picts.

We tried to get a cute Fall picture of him and Kennidee, but his sister wasn't cooperating. She would just hold Landon for a minute and she squeezed him so tight that he had enough. The last couple are of him in a basket(I'm not taking credit for that idea.....I stole the idea from my friend Missy who had a cute picture of her son in a similar basket) in front of our flowers and corn stalk in the front of our house. Here are a couple of adorable Fall pictures of Kennidee. I wanted to get a couple of Fall pictures of her before it got to cold and last week was perfect weather. The flowers on the steps of our house were still alive(thanks to Jason), so Kennidee and I went outside to take a couple of pictures. I told her she needed to wear her hat b/c it was cold outside and suprisingly she didn't put up a fuss. I did have to bribe her with a sucker so she would actually sit by the flowers and smile...it works every time!!! You tell that girl she's getting a sucker and she'll do anything!!! What a cutie!

Happy Halloween!! Just wanted to post a couple of pictures from our many Halloween festivities. The Sunday before Halloween we all had fun carving our pumpkins. Daddy went online to find drawings to put on our pumpkins....Jason and I arn't very artistic, so this is as close as we got. Kennidee really wanted to put Barney on her pumpkin, but we couldn't find a cut-out of him, so she settled with a horse. She is really into horses right now, so she was carrying around her pumpkin all morning with the horse paper on it. We weren't sure if she would let us carve it since she was so attached to the horse paper, but in the end she was excited to see it light up. Jason carved a cat and pumpkin on his, I had a lizard, and Landon had a smiley face. Kennidee was so excited to see them all lite up on the porch!!

I was able to get a couple of pictures of Kennidee and Landon together with their Halloween shirts on. I love the one of Kennidee showing Landon the little pumpkin. She is such a good big sister and is now sharing most of her toys with her little brother(we'll see how long that lasts).

This year Kennidee was a bumble bee and Landon a cow. Kennidee absolutely refused to wear her hat and threw a fit when I tried to put it on her head!! I even bribed her with a sucker, but nothing worked. I think I got one picture of her with the hat on...oh well...at least she wore the costume. We had our friends, The Dresslers, over for pizza and trick or treating. They live a block over, so it was convient for them to just walk over our house. The kids had a blast playing together and going house to house. Kennidee & Noah made themselves at home at the first house...they walked right inside and Noah started to take his costume off. They both saw the toys and wanted to play!! Too funny. I think Kennidee had 4 suckers that night.....needless to say she didn't go to sleep right away and talked in her crib for like an hour!! Jason and I enjoyed eating some of her candy!!! Yumm Yumm Can't wait for next year! Enjoy

Here are a couple of pictures of Kennidee on her big girl bike. We were all outside the other day and Kennidee decided to get out her bike. She usually just sits on it and then pushes it with her feet on the ground. Well, much to our suprise she put her feet on the pedals and started moving!! Jason and I were so proud of her. I ran into the house and grabbed the camera so we could catch this moment on film!! Our little girl is growing up fast.

Just a couple of snapshots of Landon. He is quite the little ham and is very quick to smile. He is now laughing a lot and loves when mommy says "get you get you" and when I sing "ring around the rosie". I was singing it to Kennidee the other day and Landon was laughing and lauging(he was probably laughing at mommy singing!!) He loves his baths, playing on his play gym, his big sister, and his swing(he still takes all his naps in the swing(swaddled)....whatever keeps him sleeping!!) Enjoy the picts of our little man.

Post Farms!!

Can you tell we like going to visit farms!! HAHAHA Kennidee abosolutly loves animals and we've been spending a lot of time at some of the farms around town. We hadn't gotten the chance to get pumpkins yet, so about a week ago we decided to go to Post Farms in Hudsonville. We went on a thursday evening and we were only there an hour before it got too dark. Our mission was to go on a hayride, go to the pumpkin patch and pick out our pumpkins..that didn't happen. Kennidee was too excited to see all the animals, so we spent most of our time feeding the goats and ponies and holding and chasing the little kittens around. She would not leave the kittens alone and was on the verge of tears when we left and couldn't bring one home. At one point she chased a kitten down, grabbed it by the tail(I tried to run and catch her but didn't make it in time) which the kitten didn't like and it scratched her...that didn't faze Kennidee she still went after more kittens! Needless to say we didn't go on our hayride and picked out some pumkins that had already been picked by someone else....oh well...Kennidee had fun and that's all that matters. Our little buddy, Landon, slept most of the time in the stroller.
I think we're done with farms this year!!!

Hello!! Here are pictures from a couple of weekends ago when we went to Fruitridge Farms. The Haartmans asked if we wanted to go with them to a farm near their house, so we thought it would be fun and tagged along. We had just gone to Klackels and didn't have time to pick out pumpkins, so what better place to get pumpkins. HAHAHA, we didn't have time to pick out pumpkins there either!! The kids had way too much fun feeding the animals and riding the rides. Kennidee LOVED riding the horse. We paid for three tickets and she just had to ride the horse twice. She cried when she got off the first time b/c she wanted to get right back on. We convinced her to ride in the pig ride with Conner and she seemed to like that too. The kids had so much fun and they were both hungry for donuts after all the running around. Landon and Morgan enjoyed the farm too....next year they'll enjoy it even more. Thanks for a fun time Haartmans!!

A couple of weeks ago a couple of my girlfriends from Calvin, their hubbies and kids got together at Wedgewood Park in Grandville. Everyone was in town for the Faasse/Hart wedding, so we thought it would be fun to get the kids together. These pictures are of Jake Boer, Isabella Seube & Kennidee. We tried to get a group picture of all the kids, but Kennidee was having nothing to do with it and Bella would just sit for a couple of shots. Jake was the only one that sat for more than a couple of picts, he even started clapping and laughing(too cute!!) We had a great time watching the kids feed the ducks and run around. Kennidee is quite the little mommy. She is always playing with her babies, changing their diapers, feeding them and pushing them around in the stroller. Whenever I change Landon's diaper she has to run after me and grab a diaper and a wipe for her baby. She even says "desitin" and wants to put it on her baby....that's where I draw the line(I tell her she has to pretend!!). I don't want that messy white stuff all over the house!! I caught her breastfeeding her baby the other day (this wasn't the first time) and using my pump and I just had to take a picture. She is definitely an observant little girl and doesn't miss a beat. She is always keeping us laughing. She grabbed one of my breast pads out of the closet the other day, lifted up her shirt and put it underneath her shirt!!! Jason and I were cracking up...later that day I found the pad stuck to the bookshelf in Landon's room upstairs. Never a dull moment with a two-year-old!!

Landon Reid-2 Months!

It's hard to believe that Landon is 2 months already. Wow, does time fly!! He had his dr's appointment recently and weighed in at 12lbs 8oz and 24 1/4". The dr. said he's doing great!! He is now waking up once a night, although last night it was twice(maybe a growth spurt). He is smiling a ton and cooing a lot. He loves to watch his sister and gets many hugs and kisses from her(not very gently I might add...he's going to have to be tough little guy around his big sis!!) He loves his bath, swing, bouncy seat and going for rides in the stroller. He absolutely has to be swaddled at night or he'll wake himself up with his hands. He doesn't really like the paci and is starting to suck on his fingers. Maybe he'll be a thumb sucker like his big sis!! He is such a little cutie and a blessing to our family.

Klackles Orchard!

Hi! It's been awhile since I posted anything, so I thought I would start with our trip to Klackles Orchard in Greenville two weekends ago. Jason and I have been going to Klackles for the last four years and just love it. They have everything there....a pumpkin patch, apple orchard, gift shop, donuts, hay rides, petting zoo, corn maze, animal rides and so much more. We love going there every year. This year we met the Sills Family there(Kreg, Stacey & Kendal) and had a blast hanging out with them. Kennidee and Kendal had so much fun together. They both loved riding on the ponies and looking at the animals. Kennidee's favorite animals was the cow of all things!! Seriously...so gross!! She loved it when the cow ate from her hand and laughed so hard when the cow licked her hand....I on the other hand would not even touch it. No thank you!! We took a ride on the enchanted pumkin ride out to the apple orchard and filled our bags with apples. Both girls were hungry for a snack and thought it was so fun to eat an apple from the tree!! We went to the pumpkin patch too, but were running out of time to pick out some pumpkins. We were pusing it with Kennidee's naptime, so we had time to get a donut, more pictures and one last look at the cow. Landon did great the whole time. He slept in the stroller for awhile, I fed him in the car, and then he slept some more in the baby bjorn. Kennidee and Landon both feel asleep on the way home. What a great day!! We can't wait to go back next year.

Here are a couple of pictures of Landon at one month old....I know he's almost six weeks old now, but it's been so busy in our house that it's hard to update my blog all the time. He is such a little cutie and has been smiling at us for a couple of weeks now. He even smiled at his Big Sister the other day. He now is cooing at us and it's the cutiest thing ever. We're slowly starting to understand his cries and what he likes/dislikes and we're very thankful that we're only getting up twice at night. He usually goes down around 9pm and then up at 3am and up again at 5:30am and up for the day around 8am. Hope you enjoy the picts of our little man...more to come!!

Kennidee-Funny Moments (26 months)

Just wanted to add a couple of recent pictures of Kennidee at 26 months and wanted to share with all of you the funny things that come out of her mouth at this age. She keeps us laughing every day with all the funny things she says. She is definitely a little character!! Here are just some of the things she has said lately:
*Pointed at Landon's picture on our entertainment center and said "that's my little brothers picture"
*Said "it's okay mommy" and then gave me a hug and patted me on the back when I hurt my foot.
*We took Landon to his 3-wk appointment and got him undressed to weigh him and Kennidee started to take her shirt of b/c she wanted the dr. to check her.
*When we were leaving the dr.'s office a woman was walking in the door and Kennidee said to her "No!! That's MY dr"
*Tells us when she has a poopie and says "I pooped mommy" then tells us where she pooped "I pooped in the living room, I pooped outside" etc.
*Says "mine" all the time and doesn't like when we change Landon on her dresser says "NO! Tha's my dresser" and has to run into her room and watch us change Landon. She even brings her chair over and has to stand on it to watch us change Landon!!
*She now likes to breastfeed her baby. Climed on the couch, lifted up her shirt and put her baby on her chest and said "I'm feeding my baby my milk right now"
*Loves to follow mommy into the bathroom when I have to go potty. Runs ahead of me and says "I open the lid, I open it" and has to open the lid to the potty, hand me toilet paper and then flush the toilet.
*Grandma was holding Landon the other day and Kennidee looked at her and said "NO! That's MY Landon".
*Said to me last night "I'm having a lot of fun mommy" when we were playing soccer in the backyard.
*Grandma was changing Kennidee's diaper the other day and Kennidee pointed down and said "what's that Grandma?" and Grandma said "that's your bottom, Kennidee". Kennidee got real serious and said "no, Grandma that's my privates". I was laughing from the other room and Kennidee proceeded to say "grandma has privates, grandpa has privates, mommy has privates"....too funny!!
*Loves to watch Barney and I asked her who she loved and she said "I love Barney right now, mommy".

We are proud to finally post some pictures of the newest addition to our family. Landon Reid was born August 14, 2008 at 10:59am. He was 8lbs 1oz and 21 inches. What a blessing he is to our family. I think he looks exactly like Kennidee did when she was born, but his hair is a little lighter. We went in for an induction Thursday morning at 3am b/c I couldn't wait any longer for this little one to come and I was already 6 days over due!! The labor went fast and I only pushed for 10 minutes!!! I couldn't belive it....I pushed for 2 hours with Kennidee. Well, I hope you enjoy the pictures of our sweet little boy...thanks for all your prayers for him. We are so happy to have him home and in our arms.

Kennidee's First Haircut!

Just a couple of pictures of Kennidee's first haircut. It was about time that Mommy got rid of the mullet and now I'm wondering what took me so long b/c her new haircut looks so cute!! We had to bribe her with a fruit roll-up to sit still long enough for me to quick cut her hair. She was a little wiggle worm and I think I cut it a little short and uneven, but later that night after her bath I was able to cut some of the longer pieces to make it even. She looks like such a little girl...not my baby anymore...I think that's why I waited so long to cut it. What a cutie!!

Just thought I would include a picuture of me from yesterday (my official due date 8-8-08). All I can say is I look HUGE!!! Today I am now officially overdue and anxiously awaiting the birth of our second baby!!! I'm kind of disappointed that we didn't have the baby on that date since it was the start of the Olympics and an easy date to remember, but I have to remember that God has a plan and it will happen in His time.

Baby Crump Update

Just wanted to update you all on Baby Crump. I had my appointment today (I guess you would call it my 40-week appointment since I'm due on Friday. The doctor checked me and I'm still 2cm (same as last week). Uggg....seriously...when is this baby coming. I am scheduled for an appointement next Wednesday for a nonstress test to see how the baby is doing. Hopefully the baby will come this weekend and the appointment will be cancelled on Wednesday!!! Keep us in your prayers and we will continue to update you about Baby Crump.

My New Jeep!!

Just wanted to share a couple of cute pictures of Kennidee with her new Barbie Jeep! We were coming back from the doctor's office last week and I spotted a garage sale near our house. We quick did a drive-by to see if there was anything good and low and behold we saw a cute motorized Barbie Jeep. We really weren't looking for one since Kennidee is a little to small yet to work it, but we couldn't pass it up and asked the lady how much she was selling it for. She said $60 but would take $50 for it(these things are normally $300-$400). Jason climbed back in the car and off we went to go get some cash. Well, the bank is right down the road and we came back and another couple was looking at it!! I thought we were going to have a fight on our hands!!! HAHAHA Well, we ended up talking and telling them that we just got cash out to buy the jeep and they said we could have it!!! SOLD. Right now Kennidee just loves to sit in it and put her babies in it. We charged the battery and tried to have her drive it, but I think it scared her....hopefully by next year she'll be driving it all around!! Enjoy the pictures.

9 More Days until my due date!! I can't believe it's almost here!! I had a dr.'s appointment today and the dr. said that I'm 2cm, so we've got a little progress here. I've been having a couple of contractions now and then, but nothing too serious. This baby will be coming soon and we can't wait. Hopefully everyone will be getting a call from us soon!!!

A Day at the Zoo!!

Jason and I thought it would be fun to take Kennidee to the zoo this past weekend. We're trying to fit in some fun things to do with Kennidee before the baby is born so we decided to skip church and head to the zoo on Sunday morning. It was nice because not a lot of people were there so we didn't have to fight the crowds. Kennidee loved the animals.....we asked her at the end of the day what her favorite animal was and she said the "goats". I think she liked brushing and touching the cute baby goats. She also liked the pelicans and was upset when we had to leave and look at other animals...she wanted to stay and look at the pelicans. She thought the monkey's were pretty funny too. She took one look at a monkey with a big butt and proclaimed..."look at the monkey's bottom, Mommy". Jason and I and several other people started laughing hysterically!! Never a dull moment with a two year old!! Enjoy the pictures.

Baby Crump Update

Just an update on Baby Crump. I had my 38 week appointment today and things are going great. The doctor says I'm measuring normal and she expects the baby to be around 7 to 8lbs (we'll see if she's accurate...Kennidee was 7lbs 3ounces so it will be fun to see what the second baby will be). She also said I'm dilated 1cm, so at least something is going on b/c I haven't had any contractions yet. Hopefully you'll be hearing from us sooner than later....I'm ready to have this baby. Kennidee was five days late, so hopefully this baby comes on time. I would love to include a picture of myself at 38weeks, but I dropped our camera on the cement recently and let's just say we're in the market for a new camera. Hopefully I'll be sending some pictures soon.

Turning Two!!

Happy 2nd Birthday to our baby girl!! It's hard to believe that Kennidee turned 2 this past Monday on the 7th of July. We celebrated her birthday last Sunday at our house with both of our families. Kennidee was so excited for everyone to come over and see her. She even sat for awhile and smiled for pictures, which is not very common for her since she doesn't like to sit still. She had fun playing outside with her cousins in the pool, sprinkler, and just running around. She loved all her presents and said "thank you" to each person....she even said "thank you everyone" at the end when she opened all the gifts. She loved her Dora cake, although she didn't even taste it that night b/c she wanted to rush outside and play with all her new toys. She passed on eating ice cream too which isn't normal for her!!! What a fun day!!

Kennidee also had her 2 year appointment this past week and she weighed in at 27lbs 4oz(50%) and 35 3/4"(93rd%). The doctor said she's doing great and talking a lot for her age(we agree....she does not stop talking!!!)...
Here are just some of the funny things that she says....

*"that's my spoon mommy" when I took her spoon and had a bite of her ice cream.

*"whatcha doin daddy" when Jason was cleaning the kitchen floor.

*"what's that noise" to every new sound she hears.

*Loves to be outside and would rather go barefoot then have her shoes on(I think she gets that from her mommy) says..."Kennidee has barefeet"

*Squated in the grass in the backyard and said "Kennidee poopin in grass" and Jason took her to the park the other night and she squated again and said "Kennidee poopin in bark"

*She put her finger in her mouth the other night and gaged herself and said "don't do that Kennidee" Apparantely mommy says that a lot.

*We went to Daddy's softball game the other night and she was playing on the slide with Kendal and Bryson and Kennidee proclaimed at the top of the slide "watch out eveyone, Kennidee coming down"

Good News!!!

I had my doctor's appointment yesterday and we have some good news.....the baby isn't breech anymore and is now head down!!! I have no idea when this baby turned b/c I thought I would feel it. The only thing I can think of is that the baby turned around while I was sleeping(I do remember feeling a lot of movement one night...more than usual). Thank goodness the head is down!!! Please continue to pray that the baby won't move back into the breech position & will stay head down. The doctor said that everything looks good. 4 more weeks, although I'm secretly hoping that I go early(probably won't happen since Kennidee was 5 days late).
I'm ready to be done being preggers!! Thank you all for your prayers.

Baby Crump

I had my dr.'s appointment today(I'm 35 weeks) and the doctor informed me that the baby is breech!!! The baby was breech before we left for Florida and the dr. thought that he/she would turn around, but that didn't happen. She was going to do an ultrasound today to see how big the baby is, but our dr's office was without power, so I have to schedule an ultrasound for sometime late next week. Please pray that this baby turns around on his/her own....I hear it's pretty painful if the dr. has to try to turn the baby and I really don't want to end up having a C-section since I didn't have one with Kennidee.

Our Florida Trip

Just wanted to share a couple of pictures of our recent trip to Florida. We went to Cape Canaveral, FL and stayed at the Ron Jon Resort with the Timmer Family(my mom's whole side of the family). We had such a great time and enjoyed our last vacation before the baby is born!!

Some of the highlight of our vacation were:

*Kennidee flew on an airplane for the first time and did great. She talked the whole first flight(which lasted an hour) and she fell asleep for an hour on the next plane which was suppossed to take 2hrs, but we were stuck on the run way for 2hrs prior to take-off(apparantely they were having computer problems).

*Relaxing by the pool, watching Kennidee play in the water...which she loved, enjoying the lazy river, going down the big water slide(Jason, Dad & Eric), catching up on some gossip magazines, and just enjoying the sun and warm weather.

*We enjoyed an animal show at our hotel, which all the kids loved. We were able to hold and touch an alligator, snake, and tarantula. They also showed us a ton of different animals. Kennidee wasn't scared of the alligator, but she wasn't so sure of the snake. We had to leave the show early b/c Kennidee was talking so loudly and getting so excited that she was a little distracting to everyone. At one point the lady brought out an albino snake and Kennidee yelled out "albino" at the top of her lungs(it was hilarious).

*Thursday we took an all day trip to Sea World with Grandma & Grandpa and Eric & Kelly and the kids. Let's just say that it was so humid that day I have never sweat that much in my life. We were so excited that it started raining and Kennidee enjoyed splashing in the puddles. The rain only lasted 10min and then we were off to enjoy more of Sea World. We went to the Shamu show(Kennidee slept throught the whole thing while Jason and I enjoyed the show) and then headed over to see the penguins. Well, around 2:00 it stared pouring rain again and it never let up....we were able to see alot of the exhibits that were inside and then left for home....tired, hot, wet and ready for bed.

*We also enjoyed taking Kennidee to the ocean for the first time, mini-golfing, yummy food, late night talks, watching Kennidee interact with her cousins...which she loved and is still talking about Cayden, Addyson & Kamryn.

*All-in-all we had a great time despite some sicknesses...Kelly and Cayden threw-up on the way to the airport and Cayden threw-up a couple of times on the plane(luckily they both were feeling better after a day or two). Kelly had to go to the med center late Friday night b/c she had a painful sore throat which was so red and swollen that she couldn't breathe very well...she ended up having two shots and was diagnosed with strep throat and put on some heavy medication!!!

The Girls!

Just a couple of pictures of the girls(Hanna, Bella & Kennidee). My friend, Stephanie was in town recently and we got together at Marissa's house so the girls could play. It was so much fun watching the girls interact and play with eachother while the ladies were able to talk. Kennidee really took a lot of interest in Bella. Bella is about a year younger than Kennidee and I think Kennidee thought that she was one of her babies. Kennidee would not leave Bella alone, she kept wanting to hug her and by hugging I mean arms around the neck big bear hug. We had to pry Kennidee's arms away from Bella's neck several times. At one point we all were in the other room and all of a sudden we heard Bella screaming. Kennidee was on top of her trying to give her another hug!! Wow!! It will be very interesting around our house when this new baby comes!! Sorry Bella....we love you!!!

The Good Ole Days!

Remember the good ole days of college.....well we were lucky enough to get together with some of my college girlfriends. Steph and Matt were in town(they live in Colorado) so we got the gang together and enjoyed a night away from the kids. We enjoyed dinner and drinks(Marissa and I had water b/c we're both preggers) out at Red Robin and even got a tour of Faas and Jamie's house(they'll be married in October). It was so much fun catching up on eachother's lives and remembering the good ole times. I love you girls and can't wait to get together again!!

Happy Father's Day to all the Daddy's!!! We had a great weekend spending time with Grandpa & Grandma Dykstra and Papa and Nana Crump. Friday night we took Grandpa & Grandma Dykstra out for dinner to Arnie's and then enjoyed the play area at Centerpointe Mall. Saturday morning we headed to Paw Paw to see Nana & Papa Crump for the weekend. We enjoyed spending time with them at the lake, the playground and then out to dinner at Red Robin. It was so precious hearing Kennidee tell Jason "Happy Father's Day, Daddy" in her cute little voice...it just melted my heart....and Daddy's too. Happy Father's Day, Daddy.....you are the best Daddy in the world and I love you so much....Love Kennidee(&Baby)

The Days of Summer!

Here are a couple of pictures of Kennidee from this past week. She is enjoying every part of summer. She usually is out the door and ready to go outside by 10am, doesn't come in until lunch time and is outside again after her nap. She loves to play in her pool, fill up her buckets in the hose and push her babies around on many walks in her stroller. She also loves walking to the ice cream store(so does mommy) and eating lots and lots of popsicles!!! We look forward to many more days of Summer!!

Adorable Pig Tails!!

I just wanted to post this adorable picture of Kennidee in her pig tails. She looks so much like a little girl and not my baby anymore. It took Jason distracting her with a fruit roll-up and mommy working on her hair for her to sit still long enough to put her pig tails in. She left them in all afternoon and evening and she looked so cute that I had to get some pictures....this was my favorite one....enjoy.

Crump Family Blog

Well, I've finally decided to join all my friends and family and start my own blog. I love looking at everyone's blogs, so I hope you enjoy our family blog as well. This will give you a little glimpse into our busy lives....and it's only going to get busier with another baby on the way(9 weeks and counting!!!) My goal is to update the blog every week....so here it is.....my first entry.

I just had a doctor's appointment this morning and it went really well. I am now going to the doctor every two weeks, so this baby will be here before you know it. The doctor said I'm measuring normal and the baby is around 3lbs right now(you would think the baby would be bigger since I've already gained 33lbs!!!) The baby is kicking like crazy...usaually around 9:00pm and then right before I crawl into bed. I'm sure he/she is moving around like crazy during the day, but I don't always feel it b/c I'm busy chasing my busy soon-to-be 2 year old!!

Kennidee will turn 23 months on the 7th of June!! We can't believe that she'll be two in a month. It seems like she's learning something new every day. She now sings several songs and her favorite is Happy Birthday. She wants us to play it over and over in the car while she sings along. She is quite the little character. Every morning she greets us with a big smile and says "Kennidee play with babies". Did we tell you that she absolutely loves playing with babies. Jason and I even have our own babies that she proudly named "mommy's baby" and "daddy's baby". I'm sure when the baby comes he/she will be well taken care of by big sister, Kennidee. She is quite curious when it comes to "real" babies and always wants to touch them and give them kisses. The other day we went to Centerpointe Mall and I had to run and grab her away from another baby(I think she was around 1 year old) b/c Kennidee grabbed her from behind to give her a big hug and then tried to kiss her on the head!! Well, I'm going to have to cut my first blog short....Kennidee is waking up from her nap. I'll be including some pictures soon so go along with my blog. Hope you enjoy our family blog.
